We tried every lululemon sports bra – here are our thoughts!

We’ve tested every lululemon sports bra (for workouts and everyday wear!), and rounded up all our favorites.

Read on for our go-to lululemon sports bras to see what our top 3 picks are and why they’re worth the money. We also threw in some honorable mentions for you to enjoy 😏

This post was updated on October 31, 2024 with lululemon’s latest sports bra styles.

We’re so excited to be reviewing all of our favorite lululemon’s sports bras because it’s been highly asked for by you guys! We love that you all like seeing bras on “real life” bodies, because honestly — we do too!

These reviews are workout-approved and the bras that we selected we truly recommend, love, and wear on a daily basis both during workouts and in everyday life. It’s honestly a rare occasion that you’ll find the 3 of us not wearing a lululemon bra.

  • Lee: 5’7″ – 36H
  • Linley: 5’3″ – 32C/D
  • Emily: 5’9″ – 36DD

Best 3 lululemon Sports Bras

lululemon categorizes their sports bras by low, medium, and high-impact use. They come in a variety of fits – either number sizes (2, 4, 6, 8) or cup sizes (34A, 34B, 34C).

We decided to share our top 3 lululemon bras that were unanimously voted for between the 3 of us and a few extras we just HAD to tell you about.

  1. Energy Bra
  2. Bend This Scoop and Square
  3. Like a Cloud D/DD
  4. A few more honorable mentions 🤩

Between the 3 of us, the Energy Bra is our one true love. It’s really what made us fall in love with lululemon sports bras in the first place and it’s what we recommend to anyone who has never bought a lululemon sports bra before.

The Energy Bra is a medium-support, B-D cup sports bra. It’s a racerback and comes in a few different styles. It’s perfect for HIIT, running and anyone who likes a supportive sports bra.

Linley is wearing the longline energy bra in a size 6. We were stoked when they came out with the longline version a few years ago because it adds even more coverage for those of us blessed with a chest. It has been her go-to workout bra for years. It holds the girls in and allows for all different types of training, from yoga to running.

  • Longline Energy Bra – this is the bra pictured below. Out of the 2 types of Energy Bras, the longline is our favorite because it provides a little bit extra coverage with more fabric.
  • Regular Energy Bra – this energy bra version fits similarly to the longline, but the band around the ribcage is about half the length. If you don’t enjoy the added compression that a longer band provides, this is a great bra option for you.

Bend This Scoop and Square

Our new favorite t-shirt bra is the Bend this Scoop and Square. It’s silky soft and supportive and so perfect for everyday wear.

Linley is wearing a small/medium and it has great coverage on her size C/D boobs. We love the extra stretch it provides because it makes it a bit more fuller coverage if you need it.

It is a great bra for walking the dogs, and wearing under t-shirts, and it doubles as a great swimsuit. It has a removable pad across both boobs that provide a little extra cushion, but can be easily unclipped and removed.

Types of bend this scoop and square Bras

  • Bend this Scoop and Square – this is the bra pictured below. It’s the perfect t-shirt bra because it comes in neutral colors and is so, so comfy for everyday wear.
  • Bend This V and Racer – this bra is so fun because it’s really 2 bras in one. You can wear it with the racer in the front and the V in the back or vice versa. Em’s worn this as a swim suit top both ways!
  • Bend This Scoop and Cross – you can also wear this bra 2 ways! It has a fun racer back with a hole on one side and a low scoop on the other.

The Like a Cloud Bra is so soft, there are no harsh seams, and it comes in every size.

Emily and Lee love the D/DD version because the coverage is amazing and it doubles as a great postpartum/nursing bra. It was soft enough for those sore nips right after giving birth and IYKYK that is SO hard to find. It has limited seams and no clasps. This bra provides enough support for low-impact workouts like a ride on the Peloton bike. Em is wearing a size 10 in the D/DD version.

This is not a running bra, but is great for yoga, pilates, everyday wear and anything relatively low impact.

  • Like a Cloud D/DD – this is the bra pictured below. It’s the bra that we get for every mama postpartum. It’s so incredibly soft and has enough stretch to be used as a nursing bra.
  • Like a Cloud B/C – this version has less coverage and thinner straps, but the same buttery soft fabric. It’s perfect for a B or a C cup.
  • Like a Cloud A/B – this version has classic spaghetti straps and the same buttery soft fabric.

lululemon Sports Bras Honorable Mentions

We would be remiss to not include a few of the other lululemon sports bras that we regularly wear. When we’re not wearing one of the 3 bras listed above, you’ll find us wearing one of these 🤩

The Envital D/DD is such a great bra when you’re looking for light support, but still want full coverage — and we all know how hard that is to find when you’re a size D or more! Lee loves that this bra is more light/medium support, but also covers a fuller bust. She’s done all sorts of workouts in this bra and anything that does not involve jumping or running is perfect. The one thing Lee would change about this bra is a v-neck.

D/DD girlies need that coverage in the cleavage! Lee is wearing a size 10.

The Align Bra used to only come in an A/B version and a C/D version, but we were SO thrilled to see them add a DDD/G version. It’s the same buttery soft fabric as the align leggings with a v-neck and long line band. This provides enough coverage and support to not have Emily’s DDs pouring out the top. She’s wearing a size medium. This is a great everyday bra for larger chested ladies, and can also be worn for low impact workouts like yoga.

The Ultralu Bra is a new favorite for Lee. She is wearing a size 10 and loves that it clasps in the back as your boobs get bigger and smaller during your cycle and the scoop neck is perfect. The fabric is super soft and there is a lot of stretch, which helps cover the gals. Ths bra is great for any sort of workout, including HIIT!

A woman wearing a blue sports bra smiles at the camera. Text beside her reads: "Lee 5'7" 36H" and describes the bra as medium impact with thick fabric, full coverage, and great for workouts.
