What is keto candy?
So, what exactly qualifies as keto candy?
My list includes all candy that can be enjoyed on a low-carb diet. These treats are low in carbohydrates, are naturally sweetened, and won’t break your ketosis when eaten right.
With this said, eat all of these treats in moderation!
Candy is super easy to over-indulge in, but breaking your ketosis is not worth the temporary enjoyment.

Low-carb candy you may recognize
You may see sugar-free versions of Halloween classics, including:
- Reese’s Zero Sugar
- Zero Sugar Hershey’s
- Jolly Ranchers Zero Sugar
While they may appear keto on the surface, they do contain high levels of sugar alcohols like maltitol which aren’t recommended on a healthy keto diet.

Frequently Asked Questions
These are the questions I’m most asked about eating low-carb candy on a keto diet. If you don’t see your question answered here, please leave it for me in the comments down below!
On my list, Stevita Naturals hard candy wins for the lowest carb count!
These little hard candies contain <1g net carbs per candy. With that said, these small hard candies are pretty tiny and won’t always satisfy your sugar cravings.
ChocZero chocolate squares are also very low, containing 2g net carbs per 3 squares. And for gummies, Kiss My Keto gummy bears win at just 2g net carbs per pouch.
Skittles are far from a low-carb candy. In fact, they are extremely high in carbohydrates, with 92.5g net carbs per 100g package!
Avoid Skittles and try some hard candies from Smart Sweets or Stevita Naturals instead.
